Summer Tuition Rates 2018
Full Time Undergraduate—Summer
|# of Credits||Tuition Cost|
UC undergraduates taking 12 or more credit hours during the summer pay the Main Campus undergraduate per credit rate for every credit above 11 credits.
The Student Deferred Tuition Plan option for SUMMER consists of 25% down and balance due in full on single invoice due date.
Student Activity Fee:
The Main Campus undergraduate Student Activity Fee of $12 will be charged only once during the summer, at the time of registration. This Student Activity Fee is used for the provision of campus wide special events and activities in addition to services provided by the Division of Student Affairs specific to summer. Applied music fees and course fees are determined by the department offering the course, and are available by contacting that department.
Late Registration Fee:
A $50 late registration fee is assessed to all students who initially register for a summer session on or after the first day of the session. Since classes are contingent upon enrollment, early registration enables us to confirm class offerings. Classes that are under-subscribed will be cancelled.
Courses for which a special fee is charged will be indicated in the MySlice Course Catalog/Class Search. In most cases the amount of each fee is specified. Fees are charged for courses which require special materials and/or special instructional methods. Most commonly, fees are charged for laboratory courses in the sciences, studio courses in the arts, communications, and architecture, some physical education courses, and some music and art courses. There is a wide range of fees, and charges to individual students will depend upon the student’s course registration and program of study.
